The Brizzy Bike Fest (BBF) aims to get more people riding by celebrating bike culture through film, art, discourse and of course rides. My job was to develop the website in a few short hours on-top of WordPress, debug and then send it live. The deadline on this one was half a day, but I completed it with time to spare. The site utilises font face fonts, and creatively placed images for the site background and content frame.
The backend boasts of a heavily customised post creation process which allows posts to be added with sub titles, multiple images and content split into two columns. No Javascript was used whatsoever on this site, it’s pure CSS and images. The Brisbane Bike Festival website also takes advantage of library called LESS which allows you to create neat CSS stylesheets.
